Frédéric Bimbot is the Head of the "Digital Signals and Images, Robotics" in IRISA (UMR 6074).

Emmanuel Vincent is part of the organizing committee of the third community-based Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (SiSEC 2011), whose first edition had been initiated by Metiss. The results of the campaign will be presented during a panel session at the 10th Int. Conf. on Latent Variable Analysis and Signal Separation (LVA/ICA 2012). Emmanuel Vincent was nominated a titular member of the National Council of Universities (CNU section 61, 2012–2015).

Nancy Bertin and Frédéric Bimbot designed and animated a scientific stand (opened during 10 weeks) on speaker recognition at the "Palais de la Découverte", Paris, in the context of the programme "un chercheur, une manip".
